Phurba Tashi

Phurba Tashi is a Nepalese mountaineer and member of the Sherpa people.

Achievements

Phurba Tashi works for the well-known expedition organizer Russell Brice as Sirdar. Phurba Tashi has previously climbed Mount Everest 19 times, 1 times Lhotse, Cho Oyu five times, Manaslu 1 times and the Shishapangma - agent summit 1 times. In 2002, he was twice with different expeditions to the summit. With a total of 26 eight-thousanders - ascents he holds, together with Juanito Oiarzabal, the record (as of 22 May 2011 ).

In the years 2006 and 2007 expeditions by Russell Brice were accompanied by the Discovery Channel, as part of the documentation Everest - Game with death Phurba Tashi is repeatedly seen.
