Physcia stellaris is more frequent in Central Europe Blattflechtenart who settled on tree bark.

Description

The rosette - star-shaped bearing of Physcia stellaris is white gray to gray. The thallus - lobes are 0.5 to 1.5 (rarely to 3) mm wide, lower side white to light brown. In contrast to the very similar Physcia aipolia the camp is dotted not know. The dark brown, partly frosted apothecia (diameter 0.7 to 3 mm) are common and have a shelf -colored edge.

Dissemination

Physcia stellaris grows on bark of preferred free-standing shrubs or deciduous trees, often on thinner branches or in crotches. In areas with greater air pollution missing.
