Physical culture

Fiskultura (Russian Физкультура; portmanteau of Fisitscheskaja kultura Russian Физическая культура ) or in the GDR parlance body culture is the name of the settling of the bourgeois sport fitness culture of Soviet-style socialism / communism. In Soviet Russia after the 1917 revolution two currents in the workers' sports from above were combined, the more aesthetically oriented Proletcult and health / hygiene oriented, called in contemporary Germany nudism.

This has rapidly become the first fitness movement of Soviet mass society, it should be more than a sport, but cultivate the people.
