Pierre Délèze

Pierre Délèze ( born August 25, 1958 in Nendaz, Valais Canton ) is a former Swiss track and field athlete.

His special routes were the 1500 -meter run and the 5000 -meter run. From 1978 to 1981 he was four. Consecutive Swiss champion over 1500 meters, 1985 he won his only title over 5000 meters

Délèze reached at the World Athletics Championships 1983 in Helsinki sixth place over 1500 meters, at the IAAF 1987 World Championships in fourth place over 5000 meters. His only international medal he won in 1980 at the European Indoor Championships when he finished third over 1500 meters.

He holds the national record over 1500 meters with 3:31,75 min, run on August 21, 1985 in Zurich, as well as the national records over the mile and 2000 meters.
