Pilar Revuelta

María del Pilar Revuelta art director and production designer is a Spanish, who won an Oscar for Best Production Design at the Academy Awards 2007.

Life

Pilar Revuelta began her career as an art director and production designer in the film industry in 1994 with the short film Two over easy and worked until today at the scenic features of more than twenty films.

For the Spanish-Mexican movie Pan's Labyrinth (2006) by Guillermo del Toro with Ivana Baquero, Ariadna Gil and Sergi López she won along with Eugenio Caballero 2007 Academy Award for Best Production Design as well as Caballero and Ramón Moya the Premio Ariel, the most important Mexican film Awards. She was also nominated for the British Academy Film Awards 2007 Caballero for the production design in this film for the British Academy Film Awards ( BAFTA Film Award ).
