Pinarello

Cicli Pinarello SpA is an Italian bicycle manufacturer in Treviso, Italy. The company was founded in 1952 by Giovanni Pinarello. Pinarello mainly produces bicycles for road racing, track cycling and cross-country the race.

Achievements

Since the 1960s Pinarello has regularly equipped professional team. Among the sponsored teams, there are teams such as Team Telekom, Banesto, Movistar Team, Fassa Bortolo and Sky Procycling.

Over the years a number of important victories were won on Pinarello bikes. Overall, the Tour de France was won nine times on a Pinarello. Other significant victories include the Olympic victories in road races of Alexi Grewal in 1984 in Los Angeles and Jan Ullrich in 2000 in Sydney. The six consecutive green jersey of Erik Zabel during the years 1996 to 2001 were also ersprintet on Pinarello road bikes.
