Pintadito is a city in northwestern Uruguay.

Geography

It is located in the northeastern part of the department of Artigas two miles south of the capital of the department of Artigas. North West is Cerro Ejido, while a short distance east of Arroyo Pintadito runs.

Population

The city had 2004 1.642 inhabitants, of whom 843 men and 799 women (as of 2011) in the census year. 1996, been registered at 1,067 inhabitants. This Pintadito recorded a population increase of about 50 percent within a few years.
