Pinzgau Hut

The Pinzgauer Hütte is a refuge at 1700 m above sea level. A. in the Kitzbühel Alps ( Salzburg), just west of Lake Zell and the Zeller house mountain Schmitt height (1965 m).
It is located in a large clearing just south of the boiler Charter in the eastern part of the Pinzgauer walk ( distance trail 02A ), just 1 ½ miles straight line from the summit of the Schmitt height and their top station.
The lodge is run by the Austrian Friends of Nature and has 6 double, 5 four- bed rooms and 14 beds in the dormitory. It is open from early June to mid-October, in winter from Christmas until mid-April.
Accessibility:
- In the summer of Piesendorf out in 2 hours; of Schmittenhöhebahn ½ hour. Transition to Bürglhütte 6 to 7 hours
- Zell am See / Bulk village with the ski lift which ski slope to the valley chapel train, then 1 km.
- Maurerkogel ( 2,074 m ), 1 hour
- Gernkogel ( 2153 m and 2175 m), 2 to 2 ½ hours.
