The micro-region Pires do Rio is a by the IBGE (Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística ) for statistical purposes specified region in the Brazilian state of Goiás. It belongs to mesoregion southern Goiás and comprises ten municipalities.

- In the northeast region of micro Entorno de Brasília (East Goiás)
- On the southeast by Catalão (South Goiás)
- On the southwest by Meia Ponte ( South Goiás)
- In the northwest of Goiânia and Anápolis ( Central Goiás)
