The Pizzo Tambo ( 3'279 m above sea level. M. ), with four -edged summit pyramid, is the northernmost mountain in the mountain range of Adula Alps.
The Tambo is located between the Swiss Misox ( just west includes the Val Curciusa on ) and the Italian Val San Giacomo. He lies to the west above the Splügenpass. He is also known as mountain Splügens. For the German -speaking population of the mountain called Tambohorn; the map of Switzerland is called only the Italian name.
Perpetration
Mountaineers and ski tourers enjoy a wide view and look deep into Areuatal from the summit. From Splügenpass you can reach the summit via a high alpine climbing. The Alp Tambo is the alpine pastures of livestock farmers of the community Felsberg.
