Plassac (Gironde)

Plassac is a commune with 870 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the Gironde department in the region of Aquitaine. The village belongs to the district and to the Canton of Blaye. In Plassac is an early Roman settlement to be found. The floor plans of the building were uncovered in the village center.

According to legend, the first vineyard in the famous wine region of Bordeaux there should have been planted.
