Play Loud! Productions

Play loud! productions is an independent film production company and to a DVD and record label. It was founded in 1997 by filmmakers Dietmar Post and Lucía Palacios in New York. Such was play loud! involved in the preparation of various price -winning documentaries: Wall Street - A film about money by Thomas Schadt, The Nomi Song by Andrew Horn, The power of Lutz Dammbeck, Walker Evans by Reiner Holzemer and La Espalda del Mundo by Javier Corcuera. In addition to advertising, short films and videos produced EPCs play loud! increasingly make their own short films and documentaries. In 2002, the company then moved to East Berlin. Since 2006, she also acts as a DVD and record label and stands in a tradition with artists who switched since time immemorial itself, such as Mark Twain, Walt Whitman, Can, ESP, Sharam, Dead Kennedys, EA 80 Einstürzende Neubauten, Frederick Wiseman, DA Pennebaker or EA80. This is one play loud! productions of the few film companies that release their films on their own label. Critics call Post and Palacios the German counterpart to the Direct Cinema directors DA Pennebaker and Chris Hegedus.
