Plonévez-Porzay

Locronan ( Breton Plonevez- Porzhe ) is a commune in the Finistère department in 1755 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011).

Location

The municipality is located in Cornwall in the west of Brittany on the Atlantic coast ( Bay of Douarnenez ), the village center is about four kilometers from the coast. Douarnenez is located about nine kilometers south-west, Châteaulin about twelve kilometers north-east, about 16 kilometers southeast of Quimper and Brest, about 35 kilometers northwest of Locronan (air line).

Infrastructure

The nearest ski runs on the highway-like -laned road E 60 (Nantes -Brest ) and regional stations in the predominantly parallel railway line, there are at Châteaulin and Quimper. In Brest is the nearest regional airport.
