Plouégat-Guérand

Plouégat- Guérand ( Breton Plegad - Gwerann ) is a commune in the north of Brittany, in Finistère department in 1089 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011).

Geography

The place is located in the north of Brittany, near the Atlantic coast on the English Channel. Morlaix is 12 kilometers (km ) southwest, Brest 65 km south-west of Paris and about 450 km to the east. At the southwest boundary of the municipality of the river Dourduff, in the east of Douron, both coastal rivers who strive for the Channel runs.

Infrastructure

In Morlaix is the next exit on the highway E 50 (Brest - Rennes) and a regional train station in the predominantly parallel railway line.

In Brest and Rennes are regional airports.
