Plougar

Plougar ( Gwikar Breton ) is a commune with 783 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011 ) in the department of Finistère in the Brittany region. It belongs to the Communauté de communes Local Government Association du Pays de Landivisiau.

Geography

The municipality is located in northern Brittany, 14 km south of the English Channel coast.

Morlaix located 22 kilometers to the east, the major city and port of Brest 32 km south-west of Paris and about 480 kilometers east (in straight line ).

Through the municipal area of ​​the river Guillec runs on the southern border of the upper reaches of the Flèche.
