Ploumoguer

Ploumoguer ( Plonger Breton ) is a commune with 1951 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the north- west of Brittany in the département of Finistère.

Location

The community is located near the Atlantic coast of the Côte des Abers and the mouth of the Bay of Brest ( Rade de Brest) in the open Atlantic. Brest is situated 18 kilometers southeast of Paris and about 520 kilometers east (in straight line ).

In Brest the European route end 50 (Brest - Rennes) and European route 60 (Brest -Nantes ). The train station of Brest is the end of TGV Atlantique to Paris as well as the regional train lines in the direction of Rennes and Nantes. Close to the capital city of Brest is the regional airport Aéroport de Brest Bretagne.
