Saint-Renan

Saint -Renan ( Lokournan Breton ) is a commune with 7612 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the north- west of Brittany in the département of Finistère.

The community belongs to "The most beautiful detours of France ," which belong to 93 locations across the country.

Geography

The community is located near the Atlantic coast of the Côte des Abers and the Bay of Brest ( Rade de Brest). The city is crossed by the river But Ildut in a chain of lakes. Brest is located 16 kilometers (km ) southeast of Paris and about 500 km to the east (in straight line ).

Infrastructure

  • In Brest the highways end E 60 (Brest -Nantes ) and E 50 (Brest - Rennes).
  • The train station of Brest is the end of TGV Atlantique to Paris as well as the regional train lines in the direction of Rennes and Nantes.
  • Close to the capital city of Brest is the regional airport Aéroport de Brest Bretagne.
