Pödelist is a district of Freyburg ( Unstrut) in Burgenland district, in Saxony -Anhalt.

Pödelist between Halle ( Saale) and Weimar.

For the former municipality Pödelist belonged to the district Dobichau, which was incorporated on July 1, 1950 after Pödelist.

History

The place was as a direct office Village until 1815 Saxon Office Freyburg.

On 1 July 2009, the formerly independent municipality Pödelist was incorporated into Freyburg ( Unstrut). Last honorary mayor was Bodo Schimmler, who was first elected on 12 June 1994.

Traffic

West of the town runs the federal highway 180 which leads from Naumburg ( Saale) and cross- ford.
