Podlaska Wytwórnia Samolotów

Podlaska Wytwórnia Samolotów (PWS ) was a Polish aircraft manufacturer of the 1920s and 1930s.

Established in 1923 in Biała Podlaska, only under license Czechoslovak ( Avia ) and French ( Potez ) aircraft were produced during the first three years. In 1926 came the first own designs. A year later appeared with the PWS10 the first built by PWS in production aircraft (80 ). 1932, the Company reported bankrupt and was nationalized on one year. Were manufactured both military and civilian models, the most built guy was the single-engine biplane PWS26 school.

1939, the PWS factory was destroyed by bombing by the German Luftwaffe.
