Poetik-Professur an der Universität Bamberg

The poetry professor at the University of Bamberg is a German literary award. It is endowed with a total of 5000 euros. The visiting professorship is organized by the Chair of Early Modern German Literature at the Otto -Friedrich- University of Bamberg.

The invited writers undertake to hold four public lectures and discuss in seminars with students. In the context of poetics professor since 2005 Germanistic research symposia will be organized. It is a literary scholar, literary critic and translator grapple with aspects of creativity of each individual poetics lecturers in lectures and discussions. This one works closely with the International Artists Villa Concordia in Bamberg. The conference contributions will be in the series " poiesis. Viewpoints on contemporary literature "in the Wallenstein -Verlag, Göttingen, published.
