Pohoda (music festival)

Pohoda ( German as " well-being" or " comfort " ) is a music festival in Slovakia. It takes place since 1997 every summer in Trenčín Trenčín on the airport and has become the most important music festival in Slovakia.

From the previous visitor number fro the festival is rather modest ( as measured by German standards ). From the mood wise, it is still loose and overwhelming at the same time. The event is less inclined to large and world famous bands as a balanced mix of art and entertainment. It is therefore not surprising that it is possible there will also the different plays.

Pohoda preferably no particular style. Every style of music is to be found there, from classic rock, techno, ska and reggae to heavy Metal. That's why the music program requires nine different stages.

Well-known bands that were represented at the festival include:

The Prodigy, Garbage, Stereo MCs, Cardigans, Moloko, Cesaria Evora, Fun Lovin 'Criminals, Bomfunk MC's, Mando Diao, The Hives, Wu -Tang Clan and DJ Shadow.
