Puluwat, Polowat or Poluwat is an atoll of the Micronesian state of Chuuk. The Puluwat atoll located south of the atoll Pulap and west of the Chuuk islands. The atoll has five islands that lie on the edge of the coral reef and taken together have a land area of 3.40 km ².

Puluwat has compared to most Micronesian atolls only a small lagoon and lagoon including even a total area of 7 km ². In a broader sense, however Puluwat can be considered part of a much larger, mostly submerged atoll, namely the Uranie bank, extending from the Insen from southeast and occupies a total area of 332 km ². In the northwest, the bank closes at Enderby. However, this is not a part of the same atoll structure but separated from Puluwat by a deep channel.

  • Alet ( the westernmost island of the entire State of Chuuk )
