Poncelet Prize

The Poncelet Prize ( French Prix Poncelet ) is a prize of the Academie des Sciences, which was founded in 1868 by the widow of Jean -Victor Poncelet, mainly to make merit in Applied Mathematics to honor. The original prize was from 1876 2000 francs. It is awarded annually.
