Poniatów, Lower Silesian Voivodeship

Poniatów ( German Peucker ) is an almost depopulated village in the south of the powiat Kłodzki in the Province of Lower Silesia in Poland. It belongs to the municipality Bystrzyca Kłodzka ( German Habelschwerdt ), from which it is 11 kilometers to the southwest.

Geography

Poniatów located in the southeast of the Habelschwerdter Mountains in the upper valley of the Erlitz, which forms the border with the Czech Republic. Neighboring towns are Poręba in the northeast, Długopole Górne in the east, in the southeast and Gniewoszów Rudawa in the northwest. Across the border are Vrchní Orlice ( High Erlitz ) in the south, Neratov in the southwest and Nová Ves ( Neudorf ) in the northwest. To the south rises the 891 m high Czerniec ( Black Mountain), west on the slope of the Eagle Mountains of the 992 m high Anenský vrch ( Ernestine mountain).

History

Peucker was referred to in older documents as Peuckerdorf. It was established in the middle of the 16th century royal forest reason. At the time, should have been operational for a glass factory, and in two ore mining tunnel was operated. Since there is no God commanded in his own house, it was initially dedicated to the branch church in light woods and came up with this along to the parish Ebersdorf. 1665 it was resolved by light woods and gepfarrt to re -founded parish Rosenthal. As burial site was used for Peucker the cemetery of the former branch church side village.

Together with other chamber villages in the district Habelschwerdt acquired Peucker 1684 the Glatzer Governor Michael Wenzel von Althann of the rule buckles stone formed from the village communities newly acquired whose capital Rosenthal was, so she was referred to as " rule Rosenthal ".

After the Silesian Wars Peucker came together with the county of Glatz in 1763 with the Peace of Hubertusburg to Prussia. For the beginning of the 19th century are demonstrated for the Dominialanateil: eleven piece people, nine gardeners, cottagers three and a board mill.

After the reorganization of Prussia belonged since 1815 to the province of Silesia and was first incorporated into the county of Glatz. 1818 was reclassified in the county Habelschwerdt to which it belonged until 1945. 1939 counted 219 inhabitants.

As a result of World War II Peucker fell in 1945 as almost all of Silesia to Poland and was renamed Poniatów. The German population was expelled. The new inhabitants were partly displaced persons from eastern Poland. Due to the remote border location but Poniatów left in the next decades many residents, so that it is largely depopulated. For 2007, three residents are recorded. 1975-1998 belonged to Poniatów Voivodeship Wałbrzych.

Freirichtergut

The Freirichtergut that did not belong to the Dominion, formed its own share. As a free judges are detected: Melchior Mücke ( 1600), Georg Gauglitz (from 1604) and Lawrence Locker ( 1612 ). In 1612 it was purchased by the city Habelschwerdt; 1663 was the Ernest Bush, who sold it in 1695 in the possession of a certain judge. 1701 came to Georg Ludwig, in whose descendants it remained over a hundred years. Beginning of the 19th century belonged to the Richtergut a water mill and seven gardeners and cottagers.
