Poniszowice

Poniszowice ( German Ponischowitz ) is a village in the municipality Rudziniec powiat in Gliwice in Silesian Voivodeship.

History

The place was first mentioned in documents in 1223. According to the church history of Poniszowice the place is said to have existed in 1175.

Between 1936-1945 it was known as Muldenau O / S. From 1950 to 1998, the place was in Katowice Voivodeship, since 1999 in the Silesian Voivodeship. From 1973 to 1977 was Poniszowice seat of the rural community Poniszowice. In 1977, the place for community Rudziniec.
