Pooky Quesnel

Pooky Quesnel (* 1965 in Eccles, Greater Manchester as Joanna Quesnel ) is a British actress, writer and singer.

Life and career

Pooky Quesnel, Quesnel Joanna actually called, was born in 1965, located in Greater Manchester Eccles. You grew up here along with six siblings. She studied initially English at Oxford University, then moved for a year at the Drama School. In the 1980s she appeared Bodies band at the Ritz as a singer in Humphrey Carpenter's Vile. In 2005, Quesnel joined at Carpenters death in a memorial concert on again.

Her acting career as a theater actress Pooky Quesnel began in the early 1990s at the Old Fire Station in Oxford. Furthermore, they had commitments, among others at Salisbury Playhouse, the Bristol Old Vic and most recently as Persephone in the same piece with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. Since her film debut in 1993 in The Falcon of Secrets Quesnel was in numerous film and television productions mainly to see. The German television audience she is known inter alia from the broadcast on ZDF detective series Midsomer Murders.

Pooky Quesnel began in 2003 to work as a screenwriter. In her spare time she is a practicing kick boxer and avid flamenco dancer.
