Pope John XIX of Alexandria

Yohannes XIX. was the 113th Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the chair of St. Mark ( Coptic Church ).

He led from 1928 to 1942 the Office. He set up the theological school for monks in Helwan, which was named after him. He dedicated Coptic Metropolitan for Ethiopia in 1929 and five Ethiopian bishops.
