Popnoname

Popnoname is the stage name of German musician Jens -Uwe Beyer (born 1978 Fehmarn ).

Life

Beyer lived in Cologne since 2000.

After several contributions to the Popambient series at the Cologne Kompakt label and various EPs on Italic and FIRM, he published in 2007 his debut album 'White Album on Italic, then in 2008 his second album Surrounded by Weather. Since the compilation published several posts on different labels such as Kompakt, magazines, or Greenland. His live performances have taken him, inter alia, to Mexico, Sydney, Moscow, New York and Tokyo.

When Jens -Uwe Beyer he collaborates with musicians such as Jaki Liebezeit, Jan Philipp Janzen ( Von Spar ) and Michaela Dippel ( Ada ).

He is co-founder of the Cologne-based label magazines.

Theater

Under Jens -Uwe Beyer he previously composed the theater music to the dispute by Pierre Carlet de Marivaux for the stages of the city of Cologne, Salome by Oscar Wilde in Markgrafentheater Erlangen, Margot & Hannelore by Marc Becker at the theater Jena (winner pulses), Johnny Jihad of Marc Pommerening, commissioned by Nike Wagner for the Weimar Art Festival, the bus from Luke Bärfuss for the Wuppertal Opera, Hamlet by William Shakespeare, his award-winning State theater Regensburg, and the panic and the stupidity of Rafael Spregelburd for the Staatstheater Karlsruhe and the Schauspielhaus Wuppertal.
