Porto da Cruz ( [ poɾtu dɐ kɾuʃ ] German port of the Cross) is a municipality in the district of Machico in the northeast of Madeira. June 30, 2011 had Porto da Cruz 2597 inhabitants on an area of 25.2 km ².
