Post Tower

The Post Tower in Bonn is the headquarters of the German Post DHL Logistics Group (formerly German Post World Net ) and its combined businesses German Post and DHL. He is with 162.5 meters high the tallest German house outside of Frankfurt am Main and the elfthöchste in Germany at all.

Building details

The tower is located on the banks of the Rhine at the edge of the Rhine Park in the district of Gronau and thus in the center of the federal district. It has 41 top and 5 basement floors. The Tower was constructed in a modern steel and glass construction. In each floor are steel composite columns, which have a diameter of 760 and in any other projectile of 406 mm in the foyer. History

The Post Tower was designed by the architects Murphy and Jahn (Chicago ), composed by Werner Sobek (Stuttgart).

The tower was built in just two and a half years, from 2000 to 2002, for approximately € 78 million.
