Postumus Cominius Auruncus

Postumus Cominius Auruncus was in the years 501 and 493 BC the Roman consul. In the ancient history, he often appears only as Postumus Cominius. He was the only patrician from the gens Cominia.

The Volskerkrieg associated with the Coriolanussage is moved from the Roman tradition in the second consulate of Cominius that this occurs as a commander. According to Dionysius, he is said to have ordained 497 BC the temple of Saturn and its 488 BC opposed drawn with four other ambassadors the Coriolanus.
