Potong River

The Pothong is a right tributary of the Taedong River.

It runs through the North Korean capital, Pyongyang, and forms the border between several municipalities. According to him, the Municipality Pot'onggang - guyŏk and the historic Pothong gate were named.

The river was channeled in 1946, after it repeatedly came to flooding. The groundbreaking ceremony was done by the former North Korean leader Kim Il-sung. Sludge from the river are processed by the factory for organic fertilizer combination.

Islands
