Poullaouen

Poullaouen ( Poullaouen Breton ) is a commune in the Finistère department in 1407 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011).

Location

The place is centrally located in the west of Brittany between the two places Carhaix- Plouguer and Huelgoat. Quimper is located 50 kilometers (km ) southwest, the wholesale and port city of Brest 60 km north-west of Paris and about 450 km to the east (in straight line ).

Infrastructure

In Landivisiau, Morlaix and Guingamp in the north there are runs on the highway E 50 Brest- Rennes and Quimper and Lorient, in the south of the E 60 Brest- Nantes. In the aforementioned places are also stations on predominantly parallel regional rail lines. The train station of Brest is the end of TGV Atlantique to Paris. The airports Aéroport de Brest Brittany, near Brest and Lorient Bretagne Sud Aéroport de Lorient at the next regional airports.
