Saint-Hernin

Saint- Hernin ( Breton Sant - Hern ) is a commune in the Finistère department 748 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011).

Geography

The place is centrally located in the west of Brittany, near the town of Carhaix- Plouguer in the Valley of Hyère, which here is part of the Canal de Nantes à Brest. Quimper is located 42 kilometers (km ) southwest, the wholesale and port city of Brest 65 km north-west of Paris and about 450 km to the east (in straight line ).

Infrastructure

Saint- Hernin is located near the intersection of several national roads. In Landivisiau, Morlaix and Guingamp in the north there are runs on the highway E 50 Brest- Rennes and, inter alia, at Quimper and Lorient, in the south of the E 60 Brest- Nantes. In the aforementioned places are also stations on the mostly parallel regional rail lines. The train station of Brest is the end of TGV Atlantique to Paris. The airports Aéroport de Brest Brittany, near Brest and Lorient Bretagne Sud Aéroport de Lorient at the next regional airports.
