Praça de Espanha (Lisboa)

The Praça de Espanha is a place in the northern city of Lisbon, Portugal. It is formed by the intersection of Avenida António Augusto Aguiar, Avenida Columbano Bordalo Pinheiro, Avenida de Berna and Avenida dos Combatentes. The municipalities Campolide, Avenidas Novas and São Domingos de Benfica limits there together.

The square is the Museu Calouste Gulbenkian, and the Palácio de Palhavã, the residence of the Spanish ambassador. The place had long been popularly called Praça Espanha. Officially, he was named on 22 January 1979.

In the middle of the square 1998, the Arco de São Bento was built, the da Esperança the Aqueduto had formerly been part of the Galeria das Águas Livres.

The place is accessible by a metro station. Bus routes with multiple destinations south of the Tagus go from here.
