Preben Isaksson

Preben Isaksson ( born January 22, 1943 in Copenhagen, † 27 December, 2008 Greve ) was a Danish racing cyclist.

Preben Isaksson was in the 1960s one of the best Danish racing cyclist in the endurance events. Eight times he was Danish Champion in single and team pursuit. In the UCI Track World Championships in Milan in 1962, he was together with Kurt vid Stone, Kaj E. Jensen and Bent Hansen Vice World Champion in the Team Pursuit. The following year at the World Championships in Rocourt third party with the train of four, with Hansen, vid stone and Leif Larsen. At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964 Isaksson won the bronze medal in the individual pursuit. In the UCI Track World Championships in 1965, he was third in the pursuit.
