The Lower Bavarian pulpit is a 1,024 meter high mountain in the Bavarian Forest, the wooded ridge between the Pröller ( 1048 m ) and the Deer Stone ( 1095 m) high above the Danube valley with bow.

In summer, the pulpit is a popular hiking mountain, it more than one way of St. Englmar or Kollnburg the highest point, also runs the long distance hiking E8 over the summit. In winter it is part of the ski area around Sankt Englmar, which also includes the neighboring Pröller with, and among the most important in the Bavarian Forest.
