Predrag Å uput

Predrag Suput ( born June 1, 1977 in Gospic, Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian professional basketball player who played for KK Cedevita in Croatia.

Life

Suput was born on 1 June 1977 in Gospic, but came relatively late (1996 ) for basketball. At the Club KK Apatin he began in the fourth Serbian league, could have a size of 2.00 meters at that time, already. After he went to KK Vrbas in 1999, followed by 2000, a move to Spartak Subotica as direct sources of promotion to the first division. In his first year he was able to achieve for Subotica 16.5 points and 7.0 rebounds, which he paved his way towards the Serbian top teams. In 2003, Suput to KK Vojvodina Novi Sad and a year later to KK Partizan Belgrade. A broken foot forced him mid- October 2004 to a half year break. This injury is now regarded as one of the reasons why Suput never played for the national team. After the championship title in 2005, he finally moved to KK Hemofarm, where he was able to convince an average of 13.4 points and 4.4 rebounds. Against the Brose Baskets Bamberg he appealed to the ULEB Cup at 71:64 Success in 22 points and 8 rebounds. On 19 July 2007 Suput signed the then reigning German champions Brose Baskets Bamberg one-year contract. Under coach Dirk Bauer man he put on 9.8 points and 4.1 rebounds for the Franks. He also hit 55.9% of his field throws, and 42.4 % of his three-point attempts. On 28 December 2007 he extended his contract until the end of the season 2009/2010. After winning the championship in 2012, the Brose Baskets built around their team and submitted Suput no further offer. He then moved to Croatia for KK Cedevita. After the 2012/13 season, he was not active for Cedevita.
