President William Jefferson Clinton Birthplace Home National Historic Site

The President William Jefferson Clinton Birthplace Home National Historic Site in the U.S. town of Hope (Arkansas ) is the house in which, spent Bill Clinton, the 42nd President of the United States the first four years of his life. Since 1997, the house serves as a museum on 14 December, 2010, Interior Secretary Ken Salazar announced that the house was declared a National Historic Site.

History

The two and a half storey building was erected in 1917 on behalf of Dr. HS Garrett. Owners were Clinton's grandparents Edith Grisham and James Eldridge Cassidy, who lived there since 1938 and purchased it in 1946. It has a square base with 4 rooms per floor.
