Pretoria Station is the main station of the South African capital Pretoria. The scale than the head and through station train station is in the scheiding Street at the junction of Paul Kruger Street. The original station was in 1892 by the Nederlandsch -Zuid - Afrikaansche Spoorwegmaatschappij ( NZASM ) built as a terminus of the railway line Lourenço Marques - Pretoria. The present building dates from 1910 and was built by Sir Herbert Baker.

In transport the train station serves as the endpoint of the northern lines of the Metrorail Gauteng. For the standard gauge next to the Gautrain station building a new platform was created as a railhead. The station serves as a hairpin in the directions Hatfield and Johannesburg Park Station. The Shosholoza Meyl is the long-distance connection to Johannesburg, Musina and Komatipoort. The Blue Train luxury train here has one of its endpoints. Access to the Blue Train Lounge is located on the east side of the station building.

Due to delays in train traffic continued on 19 February 2001 travelers the station on fire. The renovation lasted until February 2002 and cost 18 million Rand.
