Příbram District

Příbram ( German Příbram District ) is a district in the southwest of the Středočeský kraj, Czech Republic. In the west and northwest, vast forests are located in a hilly landscape, which is over 800 meters high ( Tok 864 m asl. ); the lowest point is at the river Křeničná (271 m above sea level. M. ). Through the area of the Vltava River, where there are two dams, the Orlik dam and flows Kamýcká prehrada. Orlik is the largest dam in the Czech Republic.
