Prime Minister of Poland

Authority and powers

According to Articles 148, 149 and 161 of the current Constitution of 1997, the Prime Minister has the following authority and powers:

Nomination and election

According to Article 154 of the Constitution, the President of the Republic of Poland defines the prime minister, which subsequently proposed by the members of the Council. Motion of censure and resignation

The specifications for a censure motion are defined in Article 158 of the Constitution.
