Prince Friedrich Wilhelm of Prussia

Prince Friedrich Wilhelm Viktor Karl Ernst Alexander Henry of Prussia ( born July 12, 1880 Castle Kamenz; † 9 March 1925 Weisser Hirsch, Dresden) was a Prussian politician and member of the House of Hohenzollern.

Life

Friedrich Wilhelm, Prince of Prussia was born on July 12, 1880 Castle Kamenz at Frankenstein as the youngest son of the Prussian Prince Albrecht of Prussia ( 1837-1906 ) and his wife Marie of Saxe- Altenburg ( 1854-1898 ). Prince Friedrich Wilhelm studied in Bonn and was in 1899 a member of the Corps Borussia. He married on 8 June 1910 in Potsdam Agatha to Hohenlohe, Princess of Ratibor and Corvey ( 1888-1960 ), daughter of Duke Victor Amadeus II of Ratibor. With her he had four children:

  • Marie Therese Princess of Prussia (1911-2005)
  • Luise Henriette Princess of Prussia (1912-1973)
  • Marianne Princess of Prussia (1913-1983)
  • Elisabeth Princess of Prussia (1919-1961)

In 1911 he was appointed District President of Frankenstein in Frankenstein in the former Prussian province of Silesia. This office he held for seven years from until 1918.
