Prince Markie Dee

Mark Morales ( born February 19, 1960 in Brooklyn, New York ), also known by his stage name Prince Markie Dee, is an American rap musician and music producer.

Life

Morales was 1983-1990 Member of the Fat Boys, with the title of " Wipe Out " twelfth place in 1987 reached the Billboard pop charts and in the same year the main roles in the film comedy took over the chaotic team. With the follow-up single " The Twist " scored a number one hit in Germany. He left the band in 1989 to work as a solo artist, producer and composer. Since then he has produced, among others, for Destiny 's Child, Mary J. Blige, Lisa Stansfield and Mariah Carey, for whom he also worked as a remixer. His own albums under the name Prince Markie Dee sold only moderately in comparison to his time as a member of the Fat Boys.

He has worked as a radio host in Miami as well as managing the record label "King Music Group ".
