Princess Kira of Prussia

Kira Princess of Prussia ( Kira Auguste Viktoria Friederike actually; * June 27, 1943 in Cadinen; † January 10, 2004 in Berlin) was the second eldest daughter of Louis Ferdinand of Prussia ( 1907-1994 ) and his wife, the former Russian Grand Duchess Kira Kirillovna ( 1909-1967 ).

Kira had in various foundations - inter alia mainly founded by her parents and named after her mother's eponymous Princess Kira of Prussia Foundation - and the help of Russia engaged.

From her father, she took over after his death, his seat on the Board of Trustees of the Music Festival, Kissinger Summer Festival in Bad Kissingen.

Even in her last year she founded the Kira Princess of Prussia music and cultural foundation.

She was patron of the Berlin Project children against violence against children.

The urns Kira of Prussia and her parents are buried in the Russian Orthodox Chapel of Resurrection of Hohenzollern Castle. The funeral was held in Berlin in the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church.
