Sawhorse ( Prionus coriarius )

The Sawhorse ( Prionus coriarius ) or Gerber Bock is a type of the family of longhorn beetles ( Cerambycidae ).

Sawhorses are 18 to 45 millimeters long. The slightly shiny chitin armor is colored brown to black-brown. On the elytra are three rather weakly developed longitudinal grooves. The pronotum bears on each side three clearly distinct teeth, while both the front and the back edge is a fringe of yellow hair.
