Priscilla Barnes

Priscilla Barnes ( born December 7, 1958 in Fort Dix, New Jersey ) is an American actress.

Life

Barnes was born at the military base Fort Dix, daughter of a United States Air Force officer. Because of dislocations of her father, she grew up in various places, before the family settled in California. After completing her education she moved to San Diego to work there as a dancer. However, when she hard at a gig at the Hollywood Bowl fell and thereby broke his leg, they gave up the Tänzerei. She moved to Los Angeles, where she worked in a night club and besides took acting lessons.

In the detective series Columbo they had in 1975, a first small voice. The following year, she withdrew from under the pseudonym Joann Witty for the U.S. edition of Penthouse. In 1986, she sued the magazine, because the images were re-released under her real name, as Barnes was known as an actress. She had in the late 1970s guest roles in various television series such as The Rockford Files - Just call and Starsky & Hutch. 1981 Suzanne Somers left after the end of the fifth season of the successful sitcom Three's Company. Barnes played for setting up the series after the eighth season alongside John Ritter, the role of Terri Alden, by which they gained notoriety in Germany. In 1987, she played the role of Hildy Granger in the pilot for the series She's the Sheriff. In the subsequently formed two seasons of the series her role of Suzanne Somers was taken.
