Prize Ampère

The Prix amps, more amps Prix de l' Electricite de France, with a € 30,500 prize to (as of 2013), with the French Academy of Sciences distinguishes outstanding research in mathematics and physics. The award was established in 1974 on the occasion of the approaching 200th anniversary of André- Marie Ampère.
