Pruden

Prudencio Sánchez Hernández ( * December 1, 1916; † 25 February 1998), also known as Pruden, was a Spanish footballer.

Career

Pruden began his career in 1934 at UD Salamanca. After the Spanish Civil War, he moved to season 1940/41, to Atlético Aviación in the Primera División. Here he was with 30 goals at first scorer and won with his team the Spanish championship.

Despite these successes, the club management Atlético Aviación decided not to renew Prudens contract. This was due to a fibula fracture, which made ​​the continuation of his career in question. Then the Spaniard ran again for UD Salamanca in the Segunda División and continued his medical studies at the University of Salamanca continued.

1943 Pruden was taken from Real Madrid under contract. With the Royal he won in 1946 and 1947, the Copa del Rey. However, particularly remembered for is the return match in the Cup semi-final in 1943 against FC Barcelona, ​​which were won by the Blancos after a 0-3 first leg defeat to 11:1.
