Przelewice, Wałcz County

Przelewice ( German bounce wit ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship. It belongs to the Gmina Człopa ( urban and rural community Schloppe ) in Walęcki powiat ( county German crown).

Geographical location

Przelewice 5 km south of the city Człopa ( Schloppe ) in the extreme southeast of the West Pomeranian Province on the border with Greater Poland Voivodeship. A road connects it to the voivodeship 177 of Wieleń ( Filehne ) coming over Człopa, Tuczno ( Tütz ) and Mirosławiec ( Mirosławiec ) until after Czaplinek ( Tempelburg ) leads. Until the county seat Wałcz ( German crown) is 30 kilometers.

A rail connection no longer exists since 1988. Since 1899, the village was at the time, built free interchange - Schloppe - German crown. This was until 1945 operated by the railways of the circle German crown and then continued by the Polish State Railways until its closure in 1988. Today, the region is cut off from the rail network.

By Przelewice the little river flows Człopica ( Mill Stream ), which rises near Człopa and after 29 kilometers in the drawa ( Drage ) opens.

Place name

The German designation comes only for this place before. The Polish name Przelewice repeated in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in the community Przelewice in powiat Pyrzycki ( Pomerania ).

History

Bounce wit belonged until 1919 to the district crown in the German government district Marienwerderstraße the Prussian province of West Prussia. From 1919 to 1939 the village was incorporated into the province border Posen- West Prussia, and came between 1939 and 1945 to the governmental district boundary Posen- West Prussia, in Pomerania.

In 1910 265 residents were registered in bounce wit. In 1925, this number rose to 267, in 1933 there were 327 and 1939, 348

Since 1939, the place belongs under the name Przelewice to Poland and is now part of West Pomeranian Voivodeship within the powiat Walęcki. It is integrated into the urban and rural community Człopa and today has 200 inhabitants.

Church

Until 1901 bounce wit was incorporated into the parish Schloppe. Then it came to the parish Zützer (now Polish: Szczuczarz ). Thus, the village belonged to the parish of German crown of the Protestant Church of the Old Prussian Union.

After 1945 Przelewice was a place in the Catholic parish Człopa the Dean Mirosławiec ( Mirosławiec ) in the Diocese of Koszalin - Kolobrzeg.
